Inspired  by  a  Master  

Aromatics East West was inspired by the pioneering work of Dr. Jeffrey Yuen, my teacher. Dr. Yuen  comes  from  two  Taoist  lineages— 88th generation of the Jade Purity School, Yellow Emperor / Lao Tzu Sect, and 26th generation of the Complete Reality School, Dragon Gate Sect. He is recognized internationally  as  a  master  scholar,  teacher and practitioner of Classical Chinese medicine.  He  has  taken  the  ancient Chinese  medicinal  tradition whereby herbs,  ointments  and  liniments  were applied to acupoints, and revolutionized  it by his innovation of using essential oils.

I am infinitely grateful for Dr. Yuenʼs generosity in sharing his extensive knowl- edge of this powerful healing tradition.

An  Ancient  Tradition  

Thus, Aromatics East West holds a unique position in the todayʼs market. It is one of the few available  oil  blends  formulated  according to Chinese medicinal perspectives.

Aromatics East West  formulas are deeply rooted in ancient tradition—specifically,  the writings of   the   Nei   Jing   (The   Yellow   Emperorʼs Classic of Internal Medicine), the mystical Taoist philosophy that is the ancient foun- dation of Chinese medicine. Aromatics East West draws on the law of signatures, plant energetics and five-element theory–therapeutic concepts that have been clinically tested and proven for over 2,500 years. Dr. Yuen says, “essential  oils  are  the  dna  or  jing  (life force) of the plant.”

Aromatics East West  takes  aromatherapy  to  an exciting  new  level  by  applying  essential oils to meridian acupoints. This use of an ancient, proven delivery system is one of the most effective and direct healing modalities  of holistic  aromatherapy.  None of the conventional applications in use today (including   pulse  point,   inhalation,  massage, bath and compress) can match the potency of meridian point application.
